Role summary

FedEx Australia is hiring a Courier for its Redbank location. This is a permanent full-time position based on-site, with work scheduled for roughly 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The opportunity is intended for someone who already has experience in busy delivery environments and can handle a fast-paced route-based role with a strong focus on service, safety, and accuracy.

Key duties

• Load and unload freight by hand while following the company’s handling procedures.
• Complete deliveries on time and with accuracy, usually covering about 50 to 60 stops each day.
• Act as a professional representative of FedEx and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Follow all required safety rules, operating guidelines, and vehicle procedures.

Candidate profile

• Experience in courier, freight, or other high-volume delivery work is strongly preferred.
• Applicants must have unrestricted permission to work in Australia.
• A minimum MR licence is required.
• A clean driving record is expected, with no more than six demerit points in the last three years.
• Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol screening, a driving assessment, criminal history verification, and a functional assessment.
• You should be able to work carefully, stay efficient under pressure, and consistently follow procedures.
• A professional attitude and a strong focus on customer care are essential.
