Overview

Wendy's is hiring a cook for its Thunder Bay, Ontario location. This role is based at the restaurant and must be performed in person; remote work is not available.

Language

English proficiency is required.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is needed for this position.

Experience

Applicants should have between 7 months and less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Setting

This position is in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Create menus and estimate the food quantities needed to deliver them.
• Order food items and kitchen supplies as required.
• Prepare and cook full meals, individual dishes, and other food items.
• Check kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are in good condition.
• Oversee kitchen staff and helpers.
• Track inventory and maintain records for food, supplies, and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day kitchen operations.

Credentials

Required certificates, licences, memberships, and courses include Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
