Role overview
This contract role is for a QA Engineer who will help train AI systems through coding-focused tasks. You will join a large network of technical professionals contributing to practical advances in AI development.
The work combines flexibility with demanding technical problem-solving. You may be asked to create and solve coding challenges, develop polished applications with meaningful functionality, and draw insights from data analysis and visual presentation. Your efforts will help improve intelligent systems that continue to learn and adapt.
Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside full-time work, while others make it their main professional focus and select assignments based on their own availability and goals.
Getting started
To begin, you will create an account and complete a short assessment, which acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Create and solve a range of coding exercises used to train AI models, with a particular focus on Android-related development.
- Produce well-structured code examples and explain them clearly.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.
Qualifications
You should have strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level, along with excellent grammar and writing ability. Experience with Kotlin is preferred, and you must be comfortable with at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift. A bachelor’s degree, whether completed or still in progress, is required. Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.
Compensation and payment
Work is paid on an hourly basis, beginning at $50 to $100+ per hour, with some assignments offering higher rates. Payments are issued through PayPal, and currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal.
Terms and eligibility
This is an independent contractor arrangement. The opportunity is available only to applicants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Applicants outside these countries will not have access to assessments or available work at this time. The company will never ask you to pay any money to participate.
