Commi II

Role Overview

This position is for a Commi II at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. It is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage & Culinary function. The job is based onsite.

What You Will Do

• Handle ingredient preparation tasks such as portioning, chopping, storing, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing items.
• Cook and assemble food in line with recipes, presentation expectations, quality benchmarks, and kitchen prep checklists.
• Prepare cold dishes as required and operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Check food to confirm it is cooked properly and keep an eye on quality throughout preparation.
• Organize, set up, and close down the workstation efficiently.
• Plate and serve food in the correct quantities and in the appropriate containers.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
• Verify that appliance and food temperatures are maintained at the correct level.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
