Business Analyst

Role overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can examine how the business operates, spot opportunities to improve, and turn findings into practical recommendations. The role involves working with different stakeholders to understand what is needed and converting that into clear, usable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Review business needs and convert them into well-defined requirements.
• Carry out research, map processes, and document workflows.
• Detect gaps in systems or processes and suggest ways to improve them.
• Work with teams across functions to help deliver projects successfully.
• Create reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Assess project results and check that they support broader business objectives.
• Assist with data analysis and decision-making using relevant tools.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a similar discipline is needed.
• Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or a comparable position.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are essential.
• Experience in gathering requirements and preparing documentation is required.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders are important.
• The candidate should be able to perform well in a fast-moving environment and manage several priorities at once.

Preferred skills

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working.
• Background in process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to prepare strong presentations and reports.
