About the internship
This internship is centered on battery pack engineering for an electric tractor company focused on heavy-duty mobility solutions for agriculture. The selected intern will contribute to battery pack design, collaboration with product and manufacturing teams, production scaling support, certification coordination, and new product exploration.
Responsibilities
- Create battery pack layouts using multimodular design concepts.
- Work closely with design-development, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to move the product forward.
- Support the manufacturing and process function as battery pack output is scaled up.
- Coordinate with certification and testing bodies such as ICAT and ARAI.
- Contribute to research and development of new products.
Eligibility
Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, be able to begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. Relevant skills and interest in the work are required. Mechanical engineering students are eligible, and women looking to start or restart their career may also apply.
Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 20,000 to INR 25,000.

Other requirements
- Practical experience with design tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA V5.
- Knowledge of cell chemistries including NMC, NCA, and LFP.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics.
- Ability to design structural and thermal management aspects of battery packs and auxiliary systems.
- Familiarity with passive and active cooling approaches.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong technical judgment and decision-making skills.
