Automotive Technician

About the Role

Rutherford & Bond Toyota is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join their team in Porirua. This full-time position involves servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicle systems. You will also be responsible for test driving vehicles to identify issues and communicating with service advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance on various vehicle systems.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Test drive vehicles to accurately identify and diagnose defects.
• Collaborate effectively with service advisors to ensure smooth workflow.

What We're Looking For

• A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent accuracy and a focus on quality workmanship.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Possession of a WOF certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• A minimum of NZQA assessed Level 4 qualification in Automotive Technology.
• At least one year of professional experience as an Automotive Technician.
