Authority Engineer - NOCS (Contracting)

Role Overview

Abu Alnaga Contracting is seeking a seasoned Authority Engineer to support construction projects in Dubai by securing the required approvals, permits, and NOCs from the relevant authorities. The role calls for someone who can work independently, handle the full approval cycle, and keep projects moving in line with local compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee authority approvals and NOCs for contractor-led projects.
• Liaise with Dubai government and semi-government entities throughout the submission and approval process.
• Prepare, submit, and track applications with authorities including Dubai Municipality, RERA, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, DEWA, RTA, Etisalat/du, and project-specific developers such as Nakheel, Emaar, Dubai South, and TECOM.
• Make sure all work follows local regulations and project-specific approval standards.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and developers to keep approvals on schedule.
• Address authority remarks and push for timely resolution to reduce delays.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience handling construction authority approvals in Dubai.
• Good working knowledge of Dubai regulations and submission workflows.
• Background supporting contractors on high-rise buildings and large-scale development projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid coordination ability.
• Capability to manage several authorities and approval tracks at the same time.
