Role overview
We are seeking a sharp, proactive Associate Business Analyst who can uncover business needs and convert them into well-structured software requirements. This position offers a strong pathway to build a career in business analysis while partnering with clients, developers, QA specialists, UI/UX teams, and project stakeholders on web and mobile product work.
What you will do
- Partner with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional internal teams to collect and clarify business requirements.
- Review requirements and turn them into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and formal requirement documentation.
- Join client calls, project conversations, sprint planning sessions, and requirement clarification discussions.
- Coordinate with UI/UX, engineering, and QA teams so the expected solution is understood accurately and delivered correctly.
- Assist with UAT support, updates to requirements, meeting documentation, and other project records as needed.
What we are looking for
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
We are looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, software development, QA, project coordination, or a similar software project environment. Prior exposure to software development or experience as a software developer is considered a strong plus.
You should have a solid grasp of SDLC, Agile practices, and web and mobile application projects. You should also be able to create clear requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and meeting notes.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach are important for this role. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Draw.io, or comparable tools is an added advantage.
