Role Overview
The Saudi Investment Bank is seeking an Assistant Manager in Financial Restructuring to help manage stressed and distressed borrower relationships and support recovery-oriented solutions for clients facing financial difficulty. The role is centered on structured loan management, collateral recovery, case documentation, and reporting to support sound credit risk decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering restructuring solutions for clients and companies experiencing financial distress.
- Work within the bank’s established frameworks, systems, and procedures for managing stressed and distressed loans.
- Maintain clear records of troubled loan accounts and related cases, identifying matters that require escalation for stronger credit risk control.
- Carry out the steps needed to recover assets secured against defaulted or foreclosed loans, including eventual sale of collateral where required.
- Keep current with accepted asset management and restructuring practices, while following all regulatory obligations, internal rules, and industry standards.
- Help prepare accurate and timely periodic updates and progress reports for leadership and the Credit Committee to support informed decisions.
- Follow task instructions carefully and ensure work is completed in line with the goals of the relevant function.
- Use assigned resources efficiently and complete work within agreed standards and process limits.
- Adhere to approved policies, workflows, and procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in output.
- Resolve straightforward and recurring issues independently, and escalate more complex matters to the right stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement by spotting inefficiencies in day-to-day activities.
- Participate in assigned development programs and use available organizational tools to strengthen knowledge and capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong command of English.
