About the Role
This position is for an Analyst with a strong mathematics background to contribute to AI model training. The work calls for expert-level quantitative reasoning, and candidates from closely related areas such as Applied Mathematics or Computer Science are also suitable.
What the Work Involves
- Select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work on them.
- Complete tasks on your own schedule using your personal computer.
- Support AI chatbots by assigning writing and editing exercises and reviewing their responses.
- Assess AI-generated output for accuracy and overall quality of performance.
Requirements
- Advanced mathematical reasoning ability.
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and inductive/deductive reasoning.
- A completed or currently progressing Master's or PhD is preferred, though not mandatory.
Compensation and Payment
Work is paid by the hour, beginning at USD 40+ per hour, with some projects offering bonus rates. Payment is processed through PayPal, and PayPal will manage any currency conversion from USD. No payment is required from applicants at any stage.
Eligibility
Only candidates based in New Zealand will be considered. This is an independent contractor role.
