Role Overview

An Airside Officer at an airport in the UAE helps maintain a safe, efficient, and fully serviceable airside environment for airlines, passengers, and other stakeholders. The role sits within airport operations and supports the Duty Manager Airside in upholding aerodrome safety and operational standards in line with the Aerodrome Certificate, GCAA requirements, and other relevant laws and regulations.

The position also involves working with airport departments, government authorities, senior leadership, and emergency response agencies to support the Airport Emergency Plan.

Core Areas of Work

Airside safety oversight, regulatory compliance, and routine inspections
Day-to-day operational coordination and management
Response support for incidents, emergencies, and disruption scenarios
Liaison with airport stakeholders and service providers for smooth airside operations
Continuous performance improvement and professional development

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in aviation or a closely related field is required.
A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in airport operations.
Prior experience in aerodrome inspections is expected.
Working knowledge of GCAA regulations and applicable legal requirements is necessary.
