AI Engineer

Role overview

This remote contract opportunity is for an AI Engineer who will contribute to the training of advanced AI systems. The position focuses on supplying high-quality, real-world input that helps improve how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior experience in artificial intelligence is not essential; practical domain knowledge is the key requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and tune machine learning models so they are reliable in production settings.
• Create and automate complete machine learning workflows, following CI/CD principles.
• Use AWS cloud capabilities to support scalable AI infrastructure and model rollout.
• Manage container-based workloads with Kubernetes to maintain availability and scaling.
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to turn business challenges into usable ML solutions.
• Review, prepare, and structure real-world data problems for machine learning use cases.
• Record and explain findings, technical choices, and solution approaches in a clear and professional manner.

Skills and qualifications

• Solid background in machine learning algorithms, model creation, and deployment.
• Strong coding ability, preferably in Python or Java, along with experience on large-scale software projects.
• Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Hands-on use of AWS services for machine learning and data processing workflows.
• Strong Kubernetes experience for coordinating containerized ML tasks.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, especially for technical documentation and teamwork.
• Ability to analyze, structure, and resolve complex data problems in practical settings.

Preferred background

• Exposure to deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience in startup or fast-scaling business environments.
• Evidence of published work or contributions to open-source AI initiatives.
