This contract opportunity is for a 3D designer to help build detailed training content by producing accurate models of homes and plumbing systems. The work supports educational modules and requires close coordination with content creators in Wellington, New Zealand. What You'll Do

• Create realistic 3D models of residential buildings and plumbing layouts for learning purposes.
• Work alongside content creators so the visuals match the instructional goals and design standards of the project.
• Update and improve models using feedback from the wider project team.
• Prepare finished assets so they can be smoothly added to training modules and digital learning platforms.
• Keep communication clear and deliver work in line with agreed timelines.

Skills and Requirements

• Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya.
• Solid knowledge of architectural and mechanical modeling fundamentals.
• Ability to read technical drawings and turn them into precise 3D visuals.
• Prior involvement in education or training-focused projects is an advantage.
• Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing polished output.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Availability to work with a team based in Wellington, New Zealand, with hybrid availability preferred.
