Role Overview

Buddywise is hiring a Working Student in Tech & Ops to join its Berlin office. This is an in-person role with flexible hours of up to 20 per week, making it possible to balance work with studies. The position offers exposure to a deep-tech startup and hands-on involvement across operations, product, engineering, and commercial work. It is intended for someone eager to learn how a technology business is built and scaled from the ground up.

What You Will Work On

• Supporting engineering, product, and commercial teams through both strategic work and day-to-day operational execution
• Designing and building practical web dashboards that surface useful insights
• Creating automated systems that generate visual data with generative AI
• Developing internal software tools and automations to improve team efficiency
• Researching new growth opportunities and target industries
• Managing the deployment of custom hardware for clients
• Leading your own initiatives in areas that match your strengths and interests
• Helping improve and formalize processes so the company can scale smoothly

What We Are Looking For

• You are currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
• You can commit for at least 6 months
• You are proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking full ownership of your work
• You have hands-on experience writing code and building tools, from simple scripts to smaller software solutions and AI-driven automation workflows using modern AI technologies
• You enjoy solving problems analytically and can adapt quickly in an agile, fast-moving setting
• You communicate well and work comfortably with different teams
• You care about the mission and want to use technology to solve real-world challenges
• You speak English fluently; German is considered an advantage
