Role overview
The City of Social Circle is seeking a wastewater lab/operator to join its team in a full-time capacity. The position is based onsite and is intended for an individual who can support day-to-day plant and laboratory duties.
Licensing and technical background
The preferred candidate will hold either a Georgia-issued Class 2 wastewater operator license or a Georgia-issued wastewater lab license. Familiarity with standard wastewater testing procedures is important, including analysis for BOD, TSS, ammonia, alkalinity, phosphorus, fecal coliform, and pH.
