Treasury Analyst (Front Office)

Role overview

QatarEnergy is seeking a Front Office Treasurer to handle treasury-facing communication and coordination across the business. This role serves as a key contact point for external banking partners, QatarEnergy subsidiaries and affiliate companies, and internal teams within the organization’s departments and divisions.

Experience and technical background

• You should bring 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in trading houses with strong exposure to LNG trading, trade finance, and corporate financing.
• Experience in a comparable role within the oil and gas LNG sector or in banking will be considered an added advantage.
• Comfort with computerized business environments is important, including working knowledge of MS Office, treasury middleware, Bloomberg, SAP Treasury Risk Module (TRM), or equivalent advanced ERP platforms.

Leadership and interpersonal ability

• The position calls for strong people management capabilities, along with proven leadership and coaching skills.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business is required.
