About the role
Air Canada is hiring a motivated Store Keeper to support line maintenance with material and tooling operations in Frankfurt. This role sits within a major international airline known for a strong presence in North American aviation and a diverse workplace.
The position focuses on day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, shipping, storage, issuance of parts, and the use of motorized equipment and local delivery vehicles. The successful candidate will also check aircraft and non-aircraft materials, tools, parts, and components to confirm they are properly certified, in suitable condition, and aligned with company and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily checks and handle shipping, receiving, inspections, issuing, order handling, unserviceable-item processing, and inventory stocking while keeping the ERP system updated.
- Prepare and dispatch part orders to outstation bases.
- Arrange delivery of aircraft-on-ground (AOG) items, including after-hours customs clearance for urgent parts when required.
- Process reports such as expired material, parts or tooling issued out, and wheel rotation records.
- Prepare shipping paperwork and work in line with customs rules.
- Manage the handling and shipment of dangerous goods transported by air.
- Keep inventory at appropriate levels and coordinate any supply needs with Supply Chain in Canada.
- Classify, identify, package, mark, label, and document dangerous goods after successfully completing Air Canada’s “Dangerous Goods for Shippers” exam.
- Follow Air Canada policies and corporate procedures while maintaining a safe working approach.
- Lift items up to 45 lbs when needed.
- Stay proactive in organizing workload and priorities.
- Maintain housekeeping standards according to health and safety requirements.
- Track temperature and humidity in storage areas.
- Pick up and deliver aircraft parts from cargo facilities or other brokers, whether on or off airport property.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and experience
- Prior experience in an airline environment in maintenance, tooling, warehousing, or purchasing is considered an advantage.
- Comfortable using PC software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must hold a valid category B driving licence and be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Must be willing to work day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Must be available to travel, often at short notice.
Employment conditions

Language requirements
Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written, is required. French and additional languages are considered an advantage.
