Senior Quality Analyst

Job purpose

The Senior Quality Analyst (Scrum) plays a key role in partnering with development and business teams to run and verify test cases against system requirements. This position contributes across several projects within a Scrum-based agile environment and supports the planning, design, and execution of system testing.

Core responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee quality assurance work to confirm that products are tested and validated in line with customer expectations and business requirements. You will also guide testing activities through the full test cycle, from planning and scheduling to communicating progress and outcomes.

• Lead QA efforts to ensure products are validated against customer needs and requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate testing activities across the test lifecycle.
• Prepare test estimates, test plans, and test cases after researching and analyzing requirements.

Standards and procedures

• Help apply and reinforce testing and validation operating procedures.
• Create, maintain, and implement software verification and validation processes, work instructions, and quality documentation.

Process support and improvement

• Act as a go-to resource for other quality analysts on testing methods, standards, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing workflows and strengthen existing best practices.

Analysis and validation

• Support developers with debugging and software analysis.
• Review technical design documents and detailed business requirement documents to spot gaps or testing risks.

Communication and coordination

• Maintain regular communication with Software Development, Product Management, Marketing, Project Management, and Operations Support teams.
• Work with vendors and clients to coordinate and support different testing efforts.

Qualifications, experience, and skills

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in technical engineering, computer science, business management, or a related field. The ideal candidate should bring more than 10 years of experience in IT quality assurance and engineering, along with strong exposure to Agile delivery. Prior work in a Scrum-based agile team is mandatory, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP environments, SAP projects, and SAP testing is also required.
