Role summary
This position is for a Senior Executive in the packing operations area at Sun Pharma’s Rohini, Delhi location. The role is focused on documentation control, packing-line coordination, GMP compliance, operator training, and support for SAP-driven production and material processes.
Qualification and experience
The preferred educational background for this role is B.Pharma, M.Pharma, or MSc. Candidates should bring more than 7 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Examine executed batch production records and ensure they are properly reviewed.
- Keep equipment logbooks, physical monitoring sheets, housekeeping records, BPRs, and all other GMP-related documents up to date.
- Oversee and regulate packing activities on the first floor of CPD Block F so delivery commitments are met.
- Assign work to operators and workers according to the packing plan.
- Train operators on target achievement with low rejection rates, packing processes, cGMP, GDP, and SOP compliance.
- Support operators in standardizing machine operations to improve output efficiency and product quality.
- Complete all required learning records and training activities through the LMS platform.
- Create and access required documents and formats using the EDMS platform.
- Prepare process orders, process order receipts, material return documents, CORO deviation issues, packing lists, consumption orders, relevant labels, and other SAP HANA-related records and transactions.
- Generate printouts and verify cold room and BMS system records.
- Draft and maintain departmental SOPs.
- Train officers, operators, and contract workers to ensure SOP implementation.
- Prepare and execute qualification protocols for the CPD First Floor (Block F) packing department.
- Develop and maintain the departmental MBPR.
- Handle any additional assignments given by senior management to ensure timely completion.
