Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will support new business generation by qualifying incoming leads and/or executing outbound outreach campaigns. Your work will help build pipeline for business growth in the region.
This position may support either the Talent Solutions business or the Sales Solutions business. The specific assignment will depend on your background and the number of open roles available in each business area.
Location options for this role include Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gurgaon. The work model is hybrid, with time split between working from home and a company office based on business needs.
Responsibilities
You will partner closely with account executives to align goals, targets, and success measures while maintaining clarity, accountability, and smooth collaboration.
You will reach out to prospects in a structured way, learn about their business needs, and use product knowledge and qualification methods such as BANT to identify strong opportunities and define next steps.
You will keep improving outreach methods by testing approaches, enriching data, and using feedback to boost engagement, conversion, and funnel performance.
You will work toward monthly and quarterly targets by organizing day-to-day execution around core KPIs, following a clear plan, and using data to measure and improve results.
You will understand customer buying journeys, communicate product value clearly, and keep CRM records accurate to support pipeline quality and forecasting.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, lead generation, or sales operations. A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is also acceptable in place of that experience.
Preferred candidates will have 6 or more months of experience using CRM or ERP tools such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or HubSpot, along with the ability to keep pipeline information accurate.
It is helpful to have experience with modern prospecting methods, including multi-channel outreach through calls, email, and LinkedIn, as well as the use of AI tools for research and workflow efficiency.
Strong communication and analytical ability are important, along with comfort interpreting basic metrics, working with sales teams, and continuously improving outreach performance.
