Role Overview
This full-time position at Arcare Parkwood in Arundel, Queensland is focused on keeping the residence staffed appropriately at all times so residents receive quality care and the workplace remains well organised and positive. The coordinator is a key frontline team member responsible for effective rostering and day-to-day workforce allocation.
What You Will Do
- Create and maintain staff rosters to ensure every shift is covered and resident care needs are met.
- Balance staff availability, qualifications, preferences and contractual commitments when building schedules.
- Handle leave, shift swap and time-off requests, and arrange suitable cover where needed.
- Keep team members informed about rosters, changes and any other important work-related updates.
- Work closely with management to align staffing plans with budget requirements and broader workforce needs.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate already has rostering experience and is comfortable coordinating team allocations. Experience with scheduling platforms such as Humanforce or Time Target is desirable. The role suits someone who is adaptable, eager to learn, collaborative, and confident communicating with others in a friendly and effective way.
