Procurement Manager

Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement for construction and MEP projects. The role focuses on securing materials, equipment, and subcontracted services on time while balancing quality, cost control, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute procurement plans that support the organization’s overall goals.
• Handle supplier and subcontractor sourcing, assessment, and prequalification.
• Lead commercial discussions covering contracts, rates, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
• Track vendor performance and cultivate long-term supplier partnerships.
• Work closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to align purchasing needs.
• Ensure materials and services arrive according to project schedules.
• Manage procurement spend and look for opportunities to reduce costs.
• Compile procurement updates, forecasts, and performance tracking reports.
• Maintain adherence to internal policies and contract requirements.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks and supply chain interruptions.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.

Experience Requirements

The role calls for at least 10 years of experience with construction and contracting organizations, including a minimum of 5 years in a procurement management capacity.
