Plumber

Overview

Rock Compliance is expanding, and the team is hiring an experienced plumber to support work across Glasgow and nearby areas. This is a hands-on role focused on plumbing installation, water hygiene-related tasks, and site-based delivery.

What you'll do

• Install unvented hot water systems, including both direct and indirect setups.
• Carry out TMV installation and servicing.
• Monitor hot water systems to help ensure they operate correctly.
• Clean and disinfect CWSTs.
• Remove dead legs and complete pipe modifications in 15mm, 22mm, and 35mm sizes.
• Work on copper pipework and fittings using solder ring, compression, and press-fit methods.
• Perform closed system testing, analysis, and dosing.
• Oversee labour on site and check the quality of fitters' work.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in plumbing.
• NVQ Level 2 or a higher plumbing qualification.
• Working knowledge of water hygiene basics.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time well and meet deadlines.
• Clear, confident communication skills.
• A structured, process-driven approach with attention to standards and procedures.
• A self-starting attitude, willingness to learn, and drive to achieve results.
• Willingness to travel within the region, with occasional overnight stays if needed.
• A full clean driving licence.
