Role Overview
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will support a fast-growing HR team by helping manage recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and day-to-day people operations. This role works closely with hiring managers, employees, and leadership to create a smooth experience from candidate stage through employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end hiring activities across more than 10 open roles, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and coordination with hiring managers.
- Take ownership of onboarding for new hires and keep improving the process across all office locations.
- Assist with employee engagement efforts, company gatherings, recognition initiatives, and culture-focused activities.
- Keep employee data and HR systems accurate, organized, and confidential.
- Help with benefits administration, internal HR communications, and general people operations tasks.
- Act as a reliable contact point for employees with HR-related questions and process guidance.
- Look for opportunities to strengthen and scale people programs as the organization continues to expand.
- Be open to occasional travel to the Hoffman Estates, IL office.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or a closely related area.
- Hands-on experience coordinating hiring workflows, setting interviews, and juggling multiple priorities at once.
- Strong organizational ability with a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfort handling confidential and sensitive information with care and professionalism.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- A self-driven, helpful attitude and a willingness to step in wherever support is needed.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, changing environment.
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- May need to obtain and keep a U.S. government security clearance in the future because the work may involve restricted environments with the U.S. Government.
