Role overview
Worldwide Hotels (WWH) is looking for a Payroll Officer to manage payroll operations for a workforce of around 300 employees. The role covers routine payroll processing, statutory submissions, and coordination with HR on employee-related claims.
Key responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end payroll activities for an employee population of roughly 300.
- Prepare and submit tax clearance matters as well as annual reports required by the authorities.
- Process pro-family and other statutory salary-related claims, including NS reservist pay, childcare support, paternity and maternity claims, and foreign worker levy-related claims.
- Partner with the HR team on employee claim matters such as work injury and health and safety claims.
- Compile and deliver monthly payroll reports.
- Support the company’s sustainability goals and its commitment to an inclusive workplace.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of payroll and related experience, including exposure to work pass matters.
- Diploma, certificate, or GCE O Level qualification in a business-related field.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to interact smoothly with people at all levels in more than one language.
- Ability to stay effective under tight deadlines and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
- Careful, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate well with others.
