About the Role

The Payroll Associate is responsible for running payroll activities accurately and on time for assigned employee groups. The position focuses on meeting statutory obligations, following internal procedures, and delivering against service commitments. This is a hybrid position based in Varna, Bulgaria, with three in-office days each week.

Responsibilities

  • Handle regular payroll changes such as new hires, departures, and updates to employee records.
  • Reply to payroll questions from employees and internal stakeholders in a professional way.
  • Keep payroll records complete, accurate, and ready for audit review.
  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting tasks, and resolving payroll issues.
  • Identify and escalate exceptions, risks, or unusual cases following established procedures.

Compensation

The annual gross salary for this role is between EUR 13,100 and EUR 15,000. Final pay may differ based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for a performance bonus and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
