Oracle RMS / WMS LogFire Techno-Functional Consultant

Job overview

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle RMS or WMS/LogFire techno-functional consultant to support our expanding retail transformation work. This role calls for hands-on knowledge of Oracle RMS, WMS/LogFire, business process advisory, solution design, system configuration, integrations, and technical tailoring.

The selected professional will partner with business users, functional specialists, and technical teams to help deliver ERP and retail modernization programs.

Functional responsibilities

• Study and interpret business needs related to warehouse operations.
• Facilitate process workshops and identify gaps between current and desired operations.
• Set up Oracle RMS and MFCS or WMS Cloud (LogFire) according to business requirements.
• Map and design warehouse flows for inbound receiving, putaway, and inventory handling.
• Define and maintain warehouse rules and operational strategies.
• Establish inventory allocation logic.
• Set up cartonization and packing controls.
• Configure label output and document creation.
• Assist with UAT and obtain business approval.
• Deliver end-user training and transfer knowledge to business teams.

Technical responsibilities

• Configure Oracle WMS Cloud environments.
• Draft Functional Design Documents (FDD).
• Draft Technical Design Documents (TDD).
• Create integration designs for enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to build REST APIs.
• Support data migration workstreams.
• Investigate and resolve issues in production.
• Liaise with Oracle support on Service Requests (SRs).
• Carry out impact assessments for proposed enhancements.
• Handle integration-related coordination and execution activities.

Preferred candidate profile

This role suits a techno-functional professional with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle RMS or WMS/LogFire implementation or support. A solid grasp of retail operations, pricing and promotions, inventory and supply chain, and finance-related integrations is important.
