Operational Specialist

Role overview

Vistas Global is looking for an Operational Specialist to serve as a Retail and Corporate Banking Operations subject matter expert for Core Banking Transformation programs. This role supports T24 transformation initiatives across back-office operations, with a strong focus on business analysis, process design, testing, migration support, and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a banking operations SME for retail and corporate functions within T24 transformation initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and prepare BRDs and FSDs while maintaining scope discipline.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to keep delivery aligned with business needs.
• Design the target operating model, map processes, and define business rules for banking operations.
• Support data migration tasks, including cleansing, mapping, and balance reconciliation.
• Take ownership of testing and UAT activities, including defect review, triage, and requirement checks.
• Support change management efforts through SOP creation, user guides, training materials, and readiness planning.

Experience and background

The position requires more than 11 years of experience in Temenos Core Banking transformation work in a client-facing BA or SME capacity. Candidates should bring deep Middle East experience in retail and corporate Islamic banking, with exposure to accounts, deposits, financing, and payments.

Applicants must also be certified Temenos consultants with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Islamic AA and TPH implementations.
