Role overview

Applegreen is hiring a Night Shift Operator for its Booterstown site in Dublin. This position sits at the centre of the overnight store operation and is suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, customer-facing, and part of a close-knit team.

Key duties

• Run the shop overnight according to company procedures and the nightly checklist.
• Make sure all perimeter alarm systems are set.
• Keep the building secure throughout the night shift.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe shop environment.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service.
• Check that product prices are labelled correctly.
• Carry out stock rotation and replenish shelves.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will have prior retail experience, communicate confidently, and bring a positive, can-do approach. You should enjoy working with customers, work effectively with colleagues, and be comfortable in a busy, fast-moving setting. A willingness to learn and take on new tasks is also important.
