Role Summary
The Manager, Global Learning & Customer Education will own the strategy, creation, and delivery of learning programs, while also guiding the adoption and improvement of learning technologies across the business. The role is focused on shaping how employees and customers learn, ramp up, and perform successfully.
This leader will create strong learning experiences, improve course quality, support teaching staff in using technology effectively, and monitor learning results against operational and strategic targets. The position also involves leading a distributed team that develops education for both internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with a practical, results-oriented mindset and can turn complex topics into simple, scalable learning content that supports business outcomes.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based at the company’s headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, and follows a hybrid schedule with at least two in-office days each week.
Compensation
The base pay for this role is $130,000 to $140,000 annually, plus a 10% annual bonus.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning content across formats such as eLearning, live sessions, and blended programs.
- Develop customer education initiatives, product training, and other scalable learning solutions.
- Work closely with Marketing, Professional Services, Product, and Customer Success to improve adoption, engagement, and customer value.
- Support onboarding for offshore BDR teams and employees in the United States.
- Use instructional design methods to build practical, role-specific training materials.
- Own the learning management system strategy, day-to-day administration, and continuous optimization.
- Plan and deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
- Manage and mentor a global team of instructional designers, trainers, and/or coordinators.
- Track learning metrics and use insights to improve program effectiveness and business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR Technology, or instructional design.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or people-management experience.
- Hands-on experience with an LMS; Thinkific is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills.
