Role overview
The organization is seeking a dependable, practical Logistics & Warehouse Assistant to help with day-to-day warehouse activity and support accurate, on-time deliveries. The role suits someone who is well organized, takes initiative, and is comfortable combining physical work with administrative tasks.
Warehouse operations
- Support the receiving process for incoming items, including completing Goods Receipt (PO) entries in SAP.
- Carry out picking, packing, and dispatching tasks with accuracy.
- Prepare and review shipping paperwork such as Delivery Orders, Packing Lists, and Customs Invoices.
- Maintain stock cards and flag any inventory mismatches or discrepancies.
- Apply proper marks and labels to goods moving in and out of the warehouse.
- Assist with monthly stock count exercises.
- Keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean in line with SOP requirements.
Delivery and logistics
- Help load and unload goods, including using a reach truck when required.
- Cross-check goods against delivery paperwork before items leave the warehouse.
- Work with the Operations team to coordinate delivery timings and routes.
- Make sure deliveries are carried out safely, correctly, and within schedule.
- Return signed delivery documents without delay.
- Escalate any delays, damage, or issues encountered during transport.
- Perform daily checks on the vehicle, including tyres, lights, oil, fuel, and brakes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and arrange servicing, repairs, and inspection appointments as needed.
- Record vehicle activity accurately, including mileage, fuel usage, and movements.
- Follow all traffic rules and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse work such as receiving, picking/packing, or inventory handling is preferred.
- A valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and handling cartons manually.
- Previous exposure to reach truck operations will be considered a plus.
- Comfort using computers for inventory updates, delivery paperwork systems, and SAP or similar software.
- Strong ownership, clear communication, and a positive working attitude are important.
Work schedule and workplace details
This is a full-time onsite role based in Singapore. The position offers steady Monday to Friday working hours.
