Position overview
Bohlen & Doyen Bau GmbH is hiring a Kalkulator (m/w/d) for its Wiesmoor site in Lower Saxony, Germany. The role starts as soon as possible and is a permanent full-time position.
What you will do
- Independently prepare tender and change-order cost calculations for construction projects in civil engineering, pipeline construction, and land cable construction.
- Create bid calculations also when the project is based on functional performance specifications.
- Develop alternative and supplementary bids.
- Coordinate enquiries sent to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess subcontractor quotations and identify project risks.
- Handle technical clarification with clients and subcontractors.
- Coordinate calculations internally with project management, department management, or senior leadership.
- Take responsibility for completing and submitting tender documents on time.
- Support tender negotiation meetings with customers.
- Maintain and further develop calculation data in RIB iTWO.
Profile
- You should have a completed technical degree or a technical vocational qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience in a similar role are expected; initial exposure to site management is an advantage.
- You need confident use of MS Office and the RIB iTWO estimating software.
- Very good German skills, spoken and written, are required for smooth project communication; English is an advantage.
- The position calls for a sense of responsibility and an independent working style.
- Strong cost awareness, accuracy, and commitment are important.
- Analytical thinking, precision, communication skills, and reliability with deadlines complete the desired profile.
