Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Role overview

We are looking for an eager Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect systems, networks, and data from security risks. In this position, you will contribute to day-to-day security monitoring, assist in spotting weaknesses, and support response efforts during incidents while building practical cybersecurity knowledge.

What you'll do

• Keep an eye on security alerts, log data, and system activity to detect possible threats.
• Support the review, investigation, and handling of security incidents.
• Assist with vulnerability checks and security audit activities.
• Help update and maintain security policies, processes, and records.
• Carry out basic risk evaluations and suggest ways to strengthen security.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of security controls and security tools.
• Stay current on new cyber threats and established security practices.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, networking, and operating systems.
• Exposure to security tools, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and threat monitoring platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Quick learning ability and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to security standards.
