Junior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is available for an immediate start and offers a monthly salary in the range of AED 2,500 to AED 3,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting records and bookkeeping accurately.
• Post journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support VAT return preparation and filing.
• Draft financial statements and client-facing reports.
• Liaise with clients to collect financial documents and reporting inputs.
• Assist the audit process when required.
• Maintain compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax rules.
• Prepare management and financial reports using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting work experience is required.
• Prior exposure to the UAE market is strongly preferred.
• Qualification preference includes CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, M.Com, or B.Com.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with accounting platforms such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar software is preferred.
• Strong skills in analysis, organisation, and communication are needed.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work to deadlines is important.
• Audit experience will be an added advantage.
