Path Construction is hiring a Junior Architect for its Chicago-area operations. The company is a fast-expanding design-build and general contracting business based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, with additional offices in Scottsdale, Arizona and Charlotte, North Carolina, and projects delivered across the United States.

Role Overview
The selected candidate is expected to bring 1 to 6 years of experience and support architectural work across planning, design, documentation, and construction-phase coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and delivery of technical documentation, including coordination of tasks across project teams.
- Contribute to project design implementation and delivery.
- Assist with developing budgets, task schedules, and other elements of the project work plan.
- Coordinate the preparation of schematic, design development, and construction documents with the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Architect.
- Collaborate with engineering consultants during schematic design, design development, and construction document stages.
- Handle construction administration activities such as RFIs, RFPs, and change orders.
- Support marketing activities and may assist with or lead presentations for prospective clients.
Required Background and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture.
- 1 to 6 years of relevant professional experience, including leading teams and preparing conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents/materials.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks is an added advantage.
- Experience across all project phases and disciplines.
- Solid understanding of building codes, specifications, and building/engineering systems.
- Familiarity with the project management process.
- Ability to prepare, explain, and present design ideas to clients, cross-functional teams, and leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Capability in Revit, graphic design, and 3D modeling/visualization tools.
- Good problem-solving ability, a detail-oriented approach, and the drive to learn and progress.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort working on several projects simultaneously.
