IT Projects Manager

Role overview

National Medical Care is hiring an IT Projects Manager to lead assigned projects from planning through delivery in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on keeping initiatives on schedule, within scope, and inside budget while coordinating across departments and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned projects and make sure they are completed on schedule, within scope, and within approved budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams so project deliverables meet the required specifications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Break project work into tasks and assign responsibilities to the right people.
• Estimate project costs, carry out cost evaluations, and build project budgets from those estimates.
• Prepare contracts and sign off on them in coordination with the CIO.
• Assess project risks, communicate them to management, and recommend mitigation actions, including stopping the project if necessary.
• Respond to questions, issues, and complaints that arise during the course of the project.
• Serve as the communication bridge between the organization, customers, and vendors.
• Ensure project work follows company policies as well as local, industry, contractual, and regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Track progress, solve issues, issue status updates, and recommend corrective actions while ensuring resources are available and properly allocated.
• Use appropriate tools and methods to measure performance and build dashboards that monitor short- and long-term project goals.
• Attend coordination meetings and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings when needed, while managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly or ad hoc reports and analyses for the director.
• Take on other tasks and duties as assigned by the HOD.

Reporting line

This position reports to the CIO. It does not supervise any staff.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Business, or Engineering is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar project management credentials are strongly preferred. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience, along with proven hands-on project management exposure.
