What You’ll Do

As an Interior Technician, you will handle a variety of aircraft interior tasks, with exact assignments depending on the scope of work and direction from the Interior Team Leader. The role includes hands-on repair, installation, modification, and general mechanical support on aircraft interiors.

• Remove and install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, fabric accessories, and related interior components.

• Complete turnover sheets, work orders, and weight-and-balance documentation.
• Maintain shop equipment, tooling, and facility upkeep.
• Keep the work area and surrounding spaces clean and organized.
• Use basic computer tools to access training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Work independently when necessary and complete additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Physical and Mental Demands

Supervision and Work Environment

Most work is performed in a hangar or shop, with occasional ramp/outdoor work. The role also includes working in varied positions around the aircraft.

Tools and Equipment

You will use personal hand tools provided by the mechanic, along with electrical power tools and other shop equipment.
