Role Overview
An organized and proactive HR Assistant is needed to support the Human Resources team with both administrative and operational work. The position involves helping with recruitment coordination, maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding, handling HR documentation, and assisting with everyday HR activities while protecting confidentiality and ensuring accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support routine HR administration and daily people-operations tasks.
- Help coordinate recruitment work such as job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Assist with onboarding and exit processes for employees.
- Keep employee files, HR systems, and confidential records current and accurate.
- Draft employment letters, contracts, and other HR-related paperwork.
- Assist with attendance monitoring, leave tracking, and HR reports.
- Handle employee questions about policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Help organize training programs, engagement initiatives, and internal activities.
- Support HR projects, process enhancements, and compliance-related documentation.
- Ensure HR records and workflows follow company policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a similar discipline.
- Fresh graduates may apply; prior experience of 1–2 years in HR administration, recruitment coordination, office administration, or similar work is an added advantage.
- Strong planning, coordination, and administrative abilities.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A positive, team-friendly attitude with good interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a fast-moving team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, or payroll tools.
- Working knowledge of Singapore employment practices and HR procedures.
- Background supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HR operations.
- HR-related certifications or coursework would be beneficial.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language is an advantage.
