Role overview

As a gardener, you will take care of the maintenance, shaping, and upkeep of cemetery grounds and garden features such as hedges. The role includes regular mowing and hedge care, along with preparing graves. Earth moving is carried out mainly with a mini excavator, but some tasks are completed manually. This is a full-time position covering an area of about 30 km around the company location.

Qualifications

• Experience in green maintenance and familiarity with plant types and plant care are important for this role.
• You should be comfortable using and maintaining gardening tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Practical manual skills and confidence performing outdoor work are required.
• A completed qualification as a gardener or a similar training background is desirable, and initial experience in garden and landscape maintenance would be an advantage.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team complete the profile.
