Role overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Web Designer for the Tendem project to support specialized data-scraping workflows inside a hybrid AI-plus-human setup. In this role, you will work alongside Tendem Agents who take care of repetitive tasks, while you bring the judgment, design expertise, and layout ability needed to convert briefs and rough concepts into polished, brand-aligned, web-ready assets.

This is a part-time remote freelance opportunity suited to creative professionals with practical experience in UI and web design, marketing pages, and digital visual communication.

The Mindrift platform brings subject-matter specialists together with AI projects from leading technology companies. Its goal is to expand what Generative AI can do by drawing on real-world expertise from around the world.

Role focus

You will own the visual quality of web-based materials for marketing pages, landing experiences, and conversion-oriented layouts. The emphasis is on creating cohesive, refined designs that fit the broader brand environment and are ready for delivery.

Key responsibilities

Create persuasive one-page websites, pitch-style landing pages, and straightforward marketing sites from written copy, outlines, or early-stage drafts.
Convert brand assets and social visuals into responsive web structures, modular components, and sections that developers or no-code tools can implement with ease.
Organize and package production-ready design files securely, including Figma frame setup, asset exports, and clear handoff specifications.
Maintain strong visual alignment across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social media materials.
Check layouts carefully before delivery to confirm responsiveness, spacing quality, clarity, and adherence to current web design standards.

Requirements

About 2+ years of experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar creative/technical field is an added advantage.
Advanced ability in Figma, including scalable responsive layouts, auto-layout components, and design systems.
Experience creating conversion-focused landing pages with strong attention to hierarchy, spacing, and contemporary design trends.
Good understanding of how to prepare and package assets for developer implementation or no-code platforms such as Webflow and Framer.
Ability to carry brand styling consistently across different touchpoints, so web pages match social assets and pitch decks.
English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
A design approach that is structured, user-focused, and oriented toward conversions.
Strong attention to clarity, whitespace, and modern web layout patterns.
Self-managed working style with the ability to troubleshoot independently and deliver production-ready assets quickly.
A CV must include a portfolio link showcasing web design examples; applications without a portfolio link or relevant web design work will not be considered.

Work schedule

The expected workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week during active project phases. This is only an estimate and not a guaranteed number of hours, and it applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the hourly equivalent of USD 50, depending on their experience level and pace of work. Pay can differ from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
