Facilities Technician

Role overview

Wendy’s is seeking a Facilities Technician to support restaurant and field locations with maintenance work, equipment upkeep, and property repairs. Core responsibilities

You will handle both urgent repairs and planned maintenance across restaurant equipment and facilities. This includes completing work orders, identifying issues during site visits, and making sure maintenance tasks are tracked and finished on time.

• Carry out demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property based on work orders entered in MyTech-Connect.
• Spot urgent problems during restaurant visits and create as well as complete work orders even when operations has not already logged them.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to PM work orders.
• Open new work orders for repairs discovered during preventative maintenance checks.
• Use MyTech-Connect properly to manage and complete assigned tasks.
• Prioritize and organize daily work so work orders are finished within the timing required by their priority codes.
• Keep parts stock and company-owned tools properly tracked and accurate.
• Follow the warranty process for company restaurants.
• Report equipment and property condition, along with maintenance status, to help with capital planning.

Professional growth and compliance

The role also includes ongoing development and safety-related responsibilities. You are expected to take part in development planning, complete mandatory safety training, and stay informed about current industry practices.

• Participate in the Individual Development Planning process.
• Complete required safety training in line with company rules.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and practices.

Work arrangement and location

This is primarily a field-based position. Most work is expected to be done at Wendy’s restaurants or other locations assigned by the company. When you are not at a Wendy’s site, remote work is permitted, although any change to the work-location setup depends on management approval and business needs.

Compensation and employment details

The posted pay range is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. The target annual bonus for this position is XX% of annualized base salary, subject to actual company and individual performance.

Education, travel, and role requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required. The position also involves travel of 75% or more.
