Role Summary
The Executive Vice President is a senior, full-time remote leadership position with responsibility for key business areas, organizational growth, and smooth day-to-day operations. The role focuses on defining the company’s direction, keeping teams aligned with long-term objectives, and working closely with senior leadership to design and carry out strategic plans. The position also requires tracking performance indicators, advising department leaders, managing important stakeholder relationships, and using data to guide decisions on priorities and resource use. In addition, the EVP will contribute to team growth, help build an inclusive and high-performance culture, and serve as a senior representative in significant internal and external conversations.
Responsibilities
- Lead core business functions and ensure the organization operates effectively across departments.
- Set a clear strategic direction and communicate the company’s long-term vision to teams.
- Work with senior leaders to plan and implement major growth initiatives.
- Monitor performance data, review reports, and use insights to support informed decisions.
- Guide department heads on priorities, execution, and operational improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other important stakeholders.
- Support hiring, development, and retention efforts to strengthen leadership and team capability.
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing remote work culture.
- Represent the company in high-level internal and external discussions and negotiations.
- Allocate resources thoughtfully based on business goals, metrics, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Extensive strategic leadership and executive management experience, including the ability to guide cross-functional teams and help organizations scale.
- Solid experience in business strategy, operations leadership, and organizational development, preferably within technology or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain partnerships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities, with influence across all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing distributed teams and encouraging strong collaboration in remote work settings.
- Comfort using performance metrics, financial statements, and planning tools to shape decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- An MBA or comparable advanced degree is considered an advantage.
- Strong commitment to ethical leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, and the growth of Nepal’s IT ecosystem.
