This position goes beyond diary management. It involves coordinating complex schedules, supporting communication flow, managing sensitive information carefully, and helping the leadership team stay focused on strategic priorities. Success in the role means executives are backed by reliable, well-organised support and potential issues are identified and handled early.
What You’ll Do
- Support the executive team with proactive coordination, strong organisation and practical judgement.
- Manage calendars, priorities, meetings and communications efficiently.
- Arrange and prepare meetings, including related documents and materials.
- Coordinate travel plans for executives.
- Oversee corporate travel arrangements and events.
- Protect confidential information and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Build trusted working relationships through accuracy, professionalism and reliability.
- Anticipate challenges and resolve them before they affect operations.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly organised Executive Assistant who performs well in a busy, fast-moving environment. The ideal person is proactive, calm under pressure and comfortable balancing several priorities at once.
You should be a strong communicator and relationship builder, with excellent problem-solving ability, sound judgement and a high level of professionalism. Attention to detail, ownership of tasks and the ability to manage confidential matters are essential.
Why Join Enviro NZ
Enviro NZ is working toward a more sustainable future for Aotearoa by helping people reduce waste, recover resources and live more sustainably. The company focuses on practical action, innovation and meaningful impact for communities and customers.
You will be working alongside senior leaders in a purpose-driven environment where your support directly contributes to business success. If you enjoy being at the centre of action and helping others succeed, this role offers that opportunity.
Additional Requirements
The selected candidate must complete a pre-employment health assessment, including a drugs test, and pass a Ministry of Justice criminal records check to EnviroNZ’s satisfaction. Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship or residency.
