Role Overview
An established infrastructure contractor in Queensland is seeking an Estimator to work from Brisbane and contribute to winning and delivering important electrical, civil, telecommunications, utility, transport, road, and renewable energy projects. The role suits someone with estimating capability or a technically strong project background who is ready to move into estimating.

The business is a well-known infrastructure contractor that delivers end-to-end electrical, civil, and telecommunications works across Queensland. It has a strong pipeline of projects across utility, transport, road, and renewable energy sectors, and is recognised for quality delivery, investing in people, and maintaining a collaborative culture focused on growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the complete tender process from start to finish.
- Prepare estimates, take-offs, bills of quantities, supplier pricing, and tender documentation.
- Support the pursuit of major infrastructure work across Queensland.
- Work closely with senior leadership during tender preparation and submission.
Requirements
- Prior estimating exposure in electrical, civil, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience pricing projects such as TMR/DTMR ITS, road infrastructure, traffic signals, URD, overhead line, or renewable energy works.
- Working knowledge of Queensland WHS requirements, Electrical Safety legislation, and utility authority standards.
- An electrical or civil trade qualification is preferred, or alternatively an Engineering/Construction degree is highly valued.
- Strong commercial ability, including take-offs, BOQs, supplier comparisons, and tender submissions.
