Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a leading general contractor in Atlanta, Georgia. The company works across education, healthcare, K-12, multifamily, and hospitality construction, and is seeking someone who can deliver accurate cost analysis and help support continued project success.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is listed as $120,000 to $160,000. A separate mention in the source also refers to a salary band of $110,000 to $160,000.

Core Duties

• Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates across project stages, from early concepts through final design
• Review drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare precise and competitive bids
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to capture all project costs
• Assess subcontractor quotes and negotiate for the strongest overall value
• Keep cost records current and track market movements and project requirements

Experience and Qualifications

• Background as an Estimator on education, healthcare, K-12, multifamily, or hospitality construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and estimating practices
• Hands-on experience with estimating platforms such as ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• Solid analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
• Capability to manage several projects at once and work to demanding timelines
