Role overview

The Deployment Associate is accountable for preparing point-of-sale and payment-card hardware for rollout. The work includes configuration, testing, packaging, shipping, and inventory control, while keeping pace with daily order volume and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, image, and tailor POS and card-processing devices for deployment.
• Prepare equipment, accessories, and supplies by programming, testing, packing, and dispatching them.
• Handle daily order fulfillment, accept incoming stock, and keep inventory records accurate.
• Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks within demanding timelines.
• Troubleshoot operational problems quickly by following documented procedures and instructions.
• Stay informed about internal processes and how this function affects wider business operations.
• Take on other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications

This position calls for a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a busy production environment. Candidates should be comfortable with physical handling tasks and flexible scheduling requirements.

Additional requirements and working conditions

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical certifications such as A+, Net+, Security+, or Microsoft are considered an advantage.
• Prior experience in the credit card industry, whether acquiring or issuing, is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Windows-based tools, and email is needed.
• The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Good time management and the ability to stay productive while working independently are essential.
• Candidates should be able to lift 10–20 lbs frequently, up to 30 lbs occasionally, and up to 50 lbs on rare occasions.
• Physical duties may include receiving shipments, wrapping pallets, and using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
• Experience with testing, cleaning, sorting, and preparing items for RMA or reuse is useful.
• Attendance and performance expectations must be met consistently.
