Counsellor

Role Overview

Grace International India is looking for an Overseas Education Counsellor based in Kanpur to support students who want to study overseas. This remote role is focused on helping applicants choose the right courses, universities, and countries according to their academic background, career plans, and personal preferences.

The position covers the complete admissions journey, including application handling, SOP guidance, checking documents, and advising students on the visa process. You will also be expected to maintain regular student communication, coordinate with universities, and keep CRM records accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer informed guidance to students exploring international study options.
• Support candidates with university selection, admissions, application submission, and visa-related steps.
• Conduct counselling sessions online and keep in touch with students through regular follow-ups.
• Plan and manage student-focused activities such as webinars, seminars, admission drives, and related events.
• Travel for educational events and university assignments whenever needed.
• Develop and nurture productive relationships with students as well as partner institutions.
• Work toward counselling and admission goals while ensuring a high level of student support.

Experience & Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in overseas or study abroad counselling is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
• Understanding of global education systems and admission procedures.
• Capability to operate independently while working remotely.
• Readiness to travel for events and official work assignments.

Additional Information

Job type: Full-time, remote (work from home).

Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month plus incentives.
