Colour Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Refine and improve artwork colors in Photoshop so that final assets match approved design intent and required specifications.
• Use color grading methods to strengthen the visual quality of images and design materials while preserving the original creative direction.
• Partner with design, graphic, and printing teams to ensure colors are matched accurately to brand standards and remain consistent across product formats.
• Apply a strong understanding of color theory to produce the intended visual effect in artwork and print output.
• Prepare and assess color proofs before design intent sign-off, making sure outputs are accurate and aligned with expectations.
• Coordinate with printing teams to maintain color precision throughout the production process.
• Create and maintain detailed color records such as swatches, specifications, and adjustment notes for internal reference.
• Define, update, and enforce color standards and working procedures across projects and product forms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret project needs and provide specialist color guidance.
• Share color-related decisions, recommendations, and adjustments clearly with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in packaging, graphic design, Fine Arts, Color Science, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a colour specialist or similar position.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on color correction and adjustment work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with additional design tools.
• Solid knowledge of color management principles and their practical application.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a strong eye for color accuracy and visual aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
