Role overview
Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology organization spanning Commercial, Patient Solutions, and Medical Affairs. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide disease-state education and support to healthcare professionals and office staff in primary care and specialty settings. This role focuses on delivering approved educational content within program standards, while staying aligned with compliance requirements and leadership expectations.
What you will do
- Deliver detailed education on the relevant disease state and related care pathways to healthcare providers.
- Build productive relationships with key customers and stakeholders through the use of approved learning materials.
- Work strictly within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in all discussions, activities, and materials.
- Operate within the client-defined boundaries while coordinating with field colleagues.
- Complete mandatory Inizio and client training modules, along with competency checks, within the required timelines.
- Record office interactions accurately each day and complete all required reporting.
- Log working time and expenses in the approved Inizio systems.
- Keep professional registration and/or licensure current as required by Inizio and state law.
- Attend regional and national meetings or conferences as requested to stay up to date and share best practices.
- Look after client and company equipment and materials according to provided instructions.
- Follow company policies, the code of conduct, and external industry regulations at all times.
- Remain reachable during working hours to answer questions and carry out assigned duties.
- Hold a current, valid U.S. driver’s license and promptly report any violations or points accumulation to Inizio.
- Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
- Take on additional duties when requested.
- Note that Clinical Educators do not provide nursing care, medical advice, treatment recommendations, or product promotion for pharmacological products.
Required qualifications
- You must be a qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.
- An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent job-related experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or related field is needed; respiratory experience is preferred.
- Background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology work as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred.
- You should have strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfort presenting to physicians and office staff members is important.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and independent working skills are required.
- You need the ability to handle multiple priorities and responsibilities across a territory.
- A self-driven approach with strong personal motivation is expected.
- Ongoing professional development and a commitment to keeping clinical knowledge current are important.
- You must be willing to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel, and reside within the assigned territory.
- You should be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $88,000 to $163,000 per year, with final pay determined by experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
